Gamma's E&E Fund
The Iota Phi Lambda Sorority Inc. Gamma Chapter Enrichment & Empowerment Fund (E&E Fund), 47-2620835, was established on August 12, 2015, in Washington, DC, and confirmed a 501 (c)(3) IRS-determined Public charity status:170(b)(1)(A)(vi) as of January 9, 2024.
As the charitable arm of the Gamma chapter, the E&E Fund aims to increase its impact in the
Washington, DC community.
Donors can deduct contributions they make to the E&E Fund in accordance with IRC Section 170.
The Fund is also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under
Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.

Mission
To make financial distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code for education and charitable purposes.
To promote interest in business, professional, and entrepreneurial education among high school and college students, young adults, and adults through planned
educational programs.
To give or grant scholarships to individuals.
To support the funding of planned and executed educational programs by Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. - Gamma Chapter
To work in tandem with Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. - Gamma Chapter, which was organized on April 28, 1931.
And to provide the aforementioned community support and services.
Vision
A world where those in need in Washington, DC, have a place to economically thrive by using education, professional, and business/entrepreneurial practices.
Gamma's E&E Fund aims to raise $5,000 annually to support scholarships and the programs and projects of Gamma Chapter, Washington, DC, to benefit youth, college students, and adult men and women seeking economic growth in Washington, DC.


2025 Donors
The Gamma Chapter's GEEF extends its gratitude to who supported the Fund in 2025 through the collaborative efforts and partnership of our chapter. We want to acknowledge our generous donors who will be featured in the 2025 Annual Report for helping us raise $9,000 from June to December. This funding will contribute to scholarships and program delivery for the members of the Gamma Chapter.
